Founded in 1935 to serve the municipal employees of La Crosse, Wisconsin, Central City Credit Union has since expanded its membership eligibility. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, it is owned by its members rather than stockholders. The credit union's mission is to provide quality financial services to its members, returning profits to them in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees.
