Founded in 1991, The Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting (CALU) is a non-profit, member-funded Canadian professional association. Its mission is to provide advocacy on behalf of its members and the public with the government regarding tax and regulatory policies that impact financial services, specifically in areas of wealth creation and preservation. CALU also focuses on delivering premier professional development opportunities and fostering a community for its members, who include financial advisors, accountants, lawyers, and actuaries specializing in advanced life underwriting.
