Creating Assets, Savings and Hope (C.A.S.H.) is a community coalition led by the Empire Justice Center and United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes. Its mission is to provide free, high-quality tax preparation and financial services that help individuals and families achieve their financial goals. Through the IRS VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program, C.A.S.H. utilizes trained volunteers to help thousands of residents file their taxes accurately and claim important credits, while also offering financial education, coaching, and access to other community resources.
