Founded in 2013, Beyonic emerged to address the challenges businesses faced in making digital payments, particularly bulk payments, in African markets dominated by mobile money. The company developed a robust platform and API that enabled organizations to easily integrate and manage payments across multiple mobile networks. In June 2020, Beyonic was acquired by MFS Africa, the largest digital payments hub on the continent. Since the acquisition, the Beyonic platform has been integrated into the MFS Africa network, serving as a key product for business-to-business (B2B) payment services, and is often referred to as "MFS Africa Beyonic."
