BDO Unibank, Inc. is a Philippine universal bank that is currently the country's largest bank in terms of total assets, loans, deposits, and trust funds under management. Originally established in 1968 as Acme Savings Bank, it was acquired by the SM Group in 1976 and renamed Banco de Oro Savings and Mortgage Bank.
