It provided solutions for merchants and consumers, including credit card processing, bank slips ("boleto bancário"), and online transfers. Founded as "Buscapé Pagamento Digital," it was rebranded to BCASH™ after being acquired by the South African media group Naspers (via its PayU division). In 2016, PagSeguro (now PagBank), a leading Brazilian FinTech company, acquired BCASH™, eventually absorbing its operations and customer base, leading to the discontinuation of the BCASH™ brand.
