Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) is a global non-profit, socio-spiritual organization with its roots in the Vedas. It was formally established in 1907 by Shastriji Maharaj. Guided by a succession of spiritual leaders, currently His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, BAPS's mission is to inspire a better and more peaceful world through individual growth by fostering Hindu ideals of faith, unity, and selfless service. The organization engages in a wide range of spiritual, cultural, social, and humanitarian activities, including operating temples (mandirs), running educational institutions, providing disaster relief, and organizing health and wellness initiatives worldwide.
