Founded in 1942 to provide employee benefits for the construction industry, B&CE (Building & Civil Engineering) is a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to provide simple and valuable financial products. Over the years, it has evolved from managing holiday pay schemes to offering a wide range of benefits including pensions, life insurance, and healthcare. In 2011, B&CE launched The People’s Pension, a master trust which has since grown to become one of the largest workplace pension schemes in the United Kingdom, serving millions of members across various sectors.
