Founded in 1941, Austin Telco Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned and controlled by its members. Its mission is to provide its member-owners with a full range of safe, convenient, and competitively priced financial services. Unlike a traditional bank, a credit union's profits are returned to the members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees. Austin Telco has grown to become one of the largest credit unions in Austin, serving individuals and their families within its designated Texas counties.
