Chartered in 1956, Area Federal Credit Union began by serving civilian employees of the Texas Air National Guard. It has since grown into a full-service financial institution with a community charter. As a not-for-profit cooperative, it is owned and operated by its members, with a mission to provide affordable financial services and promote the financial well-being of the communities it serves.
