Originally established in 1970 as Muranga Tea Growers Sacco Society, the institution was rebranded to Amica Savings & Credit Co-operative Society Ltd in 2015 to serve a wider customer base. As a licensed Deposit-Taking SACCO, Amica provides members with a variety of financial solutions, including savings accounts (FOSA), loan products (BOSA), investment opportunities, and mobile banking services.
