Founded in 1955, Air Academy Credit Union (AACU) is a financial cooperative dedicated to serving its members. Originally established to serve the military and civilian personnel of the United States Air Force Academy, its membership has since expanded to include various military installations, over 300 Select Employee Groups, and residents of El Paso, Douglas, and Teller counties in Colorado. As a not-for-profit institution, AACU's mission is to provide a caring environment that empowers members to improve their financial lives by offering a full range of banking products, including savings and checking accounts, loans, and investment services, with profits returned to members through better rates and lower fees.
