Founded in 1981, AFP Habitat S.A. is one of the leading administrators of pension funds (AFP) in Chile. The company's primary mission is to manage and invest the retirement savings of its affiliated workers to provide them with pensions upon retirement, disability, or for their survivors in case of death. It operates within the highly regulated Chilean pension system, managing individual capitalization accounts and offering various savings products, including mandatory contributions, voluntary pension savings (APV), and Cuenta 2 savings accounts. Through its subsidiary Habitat Andina S.A., it also has operations in Peru and Colombia.
