Founded in 1911, Wellesley Bank was a community-focused financial institution serving individuals, families, and businesses in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and the surrounding affluent communities. As the holding company, Wellesley Bancorp, Inc. oversaw the bank's operations, which included a full suite of personal and commercial banking services, residential mortgage lending, and wealth management services through its Wellesley Investment Partners division. On June 1, 2020, Wellesley Bancorp, Inc. was officially acquired by Cambridge Bancorp, the parent company of Cambridge Trust Company. Following the merger, all Wellesley Bank branches were rebranded as Cambridge Trust.
