Founded in 2016, WeTrust was a blockchain-based company with a mission to build decentralized financial applications for a more inclusive financial system. Its flagship product was the Trusted Lending Circle, a platform designed to digitize and scale Rotating Savings and Credit Associations (ROSCAs) using Ethereum smart contracts. The project aimed to provide a transparent, low-cost, and globally accessible alternative to traditional financial services. WeTrust conducted a successful Initial Coin Offering (ICO) for its TRST token in 2017 but appears to have ceased active development and operations around 2020.
