Founded in 1992, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) serves as the national flag carrier of Ukraine. Prior to the full-scale invasion in 2022, UIA was a leading airline in the region, connecting Ukraine to over 80 destinations across Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East from its main hub at Boryspil International Airport (KBP). The company's mission is to provide safe, reliable, and high-quality air transportation, acting as a key aviation link between Ukraine and the world. Since February 24, 2022, all of UIA's scheduled flights from Ukraine have been suspended, though the company remains operational and has engaged in wet-lease, charter, and humanitarian flight operations outside of Ukraine.
