Founded in 2003, Tyro Payments is Australia's fifth-largest provider of EFTPOS solutions. The company's mission is to simplify payments and business banking for Australian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). In 2015, Tyro became the first Australian technology company to be granted a full Authorised Deposit-taking Institution (ADI) license, allowing it to operate as a business bank.
