Information by Research TrustFinance
The USAID Trade and Investment Facilitation (TIF) Project is a five-year initiative (2021-2025) with a budget of $21.7 million, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Nathan Associates Inc. The project's primary mission is to support the Government of Vietnam in adopting a more risk-based approach to customs and specialized inspection procedures. By standardizing policies, simplifying processes, and promoting collaboration between national and provincial government agencies, the project aims to reduce trade compliance costs and times, strengthen the business enabling environment, and foster greater investment and trade between the United States and Vietnam.
