Founded in 1981, Track Data Corporation established itself as a key provider of market data, news, and analytical tools for the financial services industry. The company offered a suite of products, including its flagship "MyTrack" and "ProTrack" platforms, which delivered low-latency, real-time data and execution capabilities for equities, options, futures, and foreign exchange markets. In 2013, Track Data was acquired by ACTIV Financial Systems, a global provider of market data services.
