Founded in 1949, The Bank of Glen Burnie was a community-focused financial institution headquartered in Glen Burnie, Maryland. For over 70 years, it served individuals, families, and businesses in Anne Arundel County and the surrounding areas with a variety of banking and financial services, including personal and business checking/savings accounts, loans, mortgages, and investment services. In April 2023, The Bank of Glen Burnie was acquired by F.N.B. Corporation and its operations were merged into F.N.B. Corporation’s subsidiary, First National Bank. All former branches of The Bank of Glen Burnie now operate as First National Bank locations.
