Founded in 1955 by employees of The Dow Chemical Company, Texas Dow Employees Credit Union (TDECU) has grown to become the largest Houston-area credit union and one of the largest in Texas. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, its mission is to improve the lives of its members by providing a wide range of financial products, including checking and savings accounts, auto loans, mortgages, credit cards, and investment services. TDECU operates under a community charter, serving individuals and businesses across various counties in Texas.
