The Student Managed Investment Fund Consortium (SMIFC) is a non-profit organization established to support and promote student-managed investment funds (SMIFs) at the university level. Its mission is to enhance student learning and foster best practices in investment management by facilitating communication, networking, and information sharing among member institutions. The consortium organizes conferences and events where students and faculty can present research, share experiences, and learn from industry professionals. It does not manage funds directly but acts as a central hub for the academic SMIF community.
