For over three decades, the company provided a wide range of financial products and services, including project financing, equipment financing, and advisory services, primarily catering to the infrastructure sector. However, due to significant financial distress, payment defaults, and governance concerns, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) superseded its board in October 2021 and initiated insolvency proceedings, which are currently ongoing.
