Originally established in 1996, the Central Depository of Armenia (CDA) is a key financial market infrastructure institution in Armenia. In 2008, it became part of the NASDAQ OMX Group. The "Settlement Depository Company" (SDCO) was merged into the CDA to consolidate the country's post-trade services. As the sole central securities depository, the CDA provides a full range of integrated services, including registry keeping for joint-stock companies, clearing and settlement of securities, and custodial services, thereby ensuring the safety and efficiency of Armenia's capital markets.
