Founded in 2014, RSRCHXchange created an online marketplace for institutional research, allowing asset managers to purchase research from banks, brokers, and independent providers in a more efficient and transparent manner. The platform was designed to help the buy-side comply with the "unbundling" requirements of the MiFID II regulation in Europe. In 2019, the company was acquired by the global institutional trading network Liquidnet, and its research and analytics platform was subsequently integrated into Liquidnet's services.
