Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada (RSA Canada) was one of Canada's largest and oldest property and casualty (P&C) insurance companies, with a history dating back to 1833. The company provided a comprehensive range of home, auto, and commercial insurance products distributed primarily through a network of independent insurance brokers. In June 2021, RSA's Canadian, UK, and International operations were acquired by a consortium, with Intact Financial Corporation acquiring the Canadian division. Following the acquisition, the RSA Canada brand and its operations are being integrated into the Intact family of companies, continuing its mission to protect customers under new ownership.
