Founded in 1975, REI Super was Australia's first superannuation fund specifically for real estate professionals. As an industry super fund, it operated on a not-for-profit basis, aiming to return profits to its members. The fund provided retirement savings solutions, investment options, and insurance for its members across Australia. On 1 December 2021, REI Super completed a merger with Hostplus, a larger industry super fund, to provide its members with greater scale, lower fees, and a wider range of services and investment opportunities.
