Radio Kansas is a network of public radio stations licensed to Hutchinson Community College. Originally founded in 1952 as KHCC-FM, the station has grown into a network of four full-power stations and 13 translators serving central and western Kansas. Its mission is to provide a trusted source of information, cultural enrichment, and entertainment through a mix of classical music, NPR news programs (like Morning Edition and All Things Considered), and other cultural content. As a non-commercial, listener-supported entity, it relies on contributions from its audience and underwriting from local businesses.
