Originally established to serve Queensland's public sector employees, QSuper grew to become one of Australia's largest and most respected superannuation funds. Its mission has been to help members achieve their retirement goals through strong long-term investment performance and comprehensive financial advice. On 28 February 2022, QSuper merged with Sunsuper to create Australian Retirement Trust, now one of the largest superannuation funds in Australia. The QSuper brand continues to exist within Australian Retirement Trust, particularly for its defined benefit accounts and for members who joined prior to the merger.
