Established in 1995 as a private shareholding company, the Palestine Exchange (PEX) launched its first trading session in 1997. In 2011, PEX itself became a public shareholding company and listed its own shares for trading. Its mission is to provide a fair, transparent, and efficient marketplace for securities trading, operating under the supervision of the Palestine Capital Market Authority (PCMA). The exchange aims to serve and protect the interests of investors while facilitating capital formation and investment in the Palestinian economy.
