The Northumberland Community Futures Development Corporation (NCFDC) is a federally supported, not-for-profit organization with a volunteer Board of Directors. Part of Canada's Community Futures Program, its mission is to foster local economic development and job creation by providing entrepreneurs with strategic business counseling and access to capital through repayable business loans. Since its inception in 1985, the NCFDC has provided over $34 million in financing to more than 675 businesses, helping to create and maintain thousands of jobs in the region.
