Established in 1986 as Nepal Investment Bank Ltd. (NIBL), the institution has grown to become one of the most prominent commercial banks in Nepal. In 2023, it completed a major merger with Mega Bank Nepal Ltd., creating the new entity, Nepal Investment Mega Bank Ltd. (NIMB).
