Moneo Resto
Information by Research Trustfinance
Moneo Resto was a major player in the French meal voucher market, offering a digital payment card as an alternative to traditional paper "Ticket Restaurant" vouchers. The service allowed employees to pay for meals at a network of affiliated restaurants and food retailers using a dedicated prepaid card funded by their employer. In 2014, Moneo Resto was acquired by its primary competitor, Edenred, the global leader in transactional solutions for companies, employees, and merchants. Following the acquisition, the Moneo Resto brand and services were integrated into Edenred's "Ticket Restaurant®" card offerings, and the Moneo Resto brand was phased out.
