The company's core business involves financing and managing vehicle fleets for corporate, SME, and private customers, offering end-to-end services including vehicle purchasing, insurance, maintenance, and remarketing. In May 2023, LeasePlan was acquired by its competitor ALD Automotive, and in October 2023, the combined group was rebranded as Ayvens, creating a leading global sustainable mobility player. While the LeasePlan brand is being progressively replaced, it remains visible in some markets during the transition period.
