Founded in 1943 in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Lake View Credit Union was a community-focused financial institution dedicated to serving its members. It operated on the cooperative principles of democratic member control and concern for the community. The credit union offered a comprehensive suite of financial products, including personal and business banking, loans, mortgages, and investment services. On September 1, 2021, after a member vote, Lake View Credit Union officially merged with Northern Savings Credit Union to provide enhanced services, improved digital banking capabilities, and greater long-term stability for its members.
