Founded in 1979, Koperasi Karyawan (Kopkar) Vale Indonesia is a cooperative established by and for the employees of the mining company PT Vale Indonesia Tbk. Its primary mission is to improve the economic welfare and prosperity of its members. The cooperative operates several business units, including a savings and loan unit (Unit Simpan Pinjam), retail stores, canteens, and other service-based ventures, all aimed at serving the needs of its employee members and their families.
