In 2018, Insplanet was acquired by Zmarta Group, a leading Nordic fintech company owned by Bauer Media Group. Following the acquisition, the Insplanet brand and its operations have been fully integrated into Zmarta's services, and its original website now redirects to Zmarta's insurance section.
