Established in 1960, the IAM National Pension Fund is one of the largest multiemployer defined benefit pension plans in the United States. As a Taft-Hartley plan, it is governed by a board of trustees with equal representation from the union (IAM) and contributing employers. The Fund's primary mission is to provide its participants and their beneficiaries with a secure and reliable source of income upon retirement by prudently investing contributions made on their behalf by thousands of participating employers across the country.
