Founded in 2005 in Bermuda, Horseshoe Group established itself as a premier provider of insurance management and fund administration services for the Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) and reinsurance markets. The company offers integrated services, including the formation and management of insurance structures like transformers and captives, as well as fund administration, advisory, and corporate services. In December 2019, Horseshoe Group was acquired by Artex Risk Solutions, the captive and alternative risk transfer solutions subsidiary of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., but it continues to operate as a specialized ILS services division under the "Horseshoe" brand name.
