As a digital-first agency, it leveraged technology to provide instant decisions on medically underwritten term life insurance policies, which are issued by its parent company, Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual). In late 2023, Haven Life stopped accepting new applications for its direct-to-consumer term life product and now focuses on servicing its millions of existing customers and their policies.
