Founded in 2015 by former BlueBay Asset Management portfolio managers Neil Phillips and Jonathan Fayman, Glen Point Capital was a macro hedge fund headquartered in London. The firm specialized in global macroeconomic strategies with a particular focus on emerging markets, trading in currencies, bonds, and other securities. At its peak, the fund managed over $2 billion in assets. Glen Point Capital ceased operations and wound down its funds in late 2022 following the indictment of its co-founder and Chief Investment Officer, Neil Phillips, on charges of market manipulation.
