Originally founded in 1935 as First Federal Savings and Loan of Sheridan, the institution has a long history of serving the communities of Northern Wyoming. It became a mutual savings bank in 1994, later changing its name to First Federal Savings Bank, which is what it was commonly known as for many years. In 2017, the bank reorganized and adopted its current name, First Federal Bank & Trust. As a community-focused bank, its mission is to provide high-quality financial products and services while fostering local economic growth and maintaining strong customer relationships.
