First Eastern Mortgage operated as the mortgage division of First Federal Savings Bank of Boston (FDIC Cert #31330), a federally chartered savings bank established in 1983. The institution focused on traditional banking services, including deposit accounts and mortgage lending for the Greater Boston community. As a division, First Eastern Mortgage was responsible for originating and servicing home loans.
