The company offered a range of insurance products, with a primary focus on homeowners insurance, as well as federal flood, commercial general liability, and other lines of coverage. While its main market was Florida, it also operated in several other southeastern U.S. states. After facing significant financial difficulties due to mounting losses from numerous hurricanes, litigation, and rising reinsurance costs, the company was declared insolvent and placed into receivership for liquidation in September 2022.
