Founded in 2014 by former Apple retail chief Ron Johnson, Enjoy Technology, Inc. aimed to revolutionize the retail experience by bringing the store directly to the customer's home. The company partnered with major telecommunication and technology brands (such as AT&T, Rogers, and BT) to offer a premium service where trained "Experts" would hand-deliver, set up, and personalize new tech products for customers. The company went public via a SPAC merger in 2021 but faced significant financial challenges, leading it to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June 2022. In August 2022, its assets and many of its employees were acquired by the tech care company Asurion.
