Originally chartered in 1937 as the DuPont Wilmington Shops Federal Credit Union, the institution rebranded to Dexsta Federal Credit Union in 2002. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, it is owned and operated by its members. Dexsta's mission is to be the primary financial institution for its members by providing a range of personal and business financial services, including savings and checking accounts, loans, and credit cards, with a focus on community and member financial well-being.
