Founded in 2008, the Dalhousie Investment Society (DALIS) is a student-managed investment fund at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. Its primary mission is to provide students with practical, hands-on experience in capital markets and investment management. The society manages a real-money portfolio, funded by the university's endowment and corporate sponsorships. Through a structured program of equity research, pitch presentations, and portfolio management, DALIS aims to enhance its members' financial literacy and prepare them for careers in finance.
