As part of the Atlantic Canada network of Community Business Development Corporations (CBDCs), CBDC Yarmouth is a community-based, non-profit organization dedicated to fostering economic development in rural areas. Primarily funded by the Government of Canada through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), its mission is to help create and maintain jobs by providing financial and technical services to entrepreneurs. This includes offering business loans to new and existing businesses, providing business counselling and advice, and delivering entrepreneurial training and development programs.
