Cofinoga
Information by Research Trustfinance
Cofinoga (Compagnie Financière des Nouvelles Galeries) was founded in 1968 as a financial partnership between the Galeries Lafayette group and Cetelem. It became a major player in France's consumer credit market, specializing in revolving credit and private-label cards for retailers. Over the years, BNP Paribas increased its stake, and Cofinoga was eventually fully absorbed into its subsidiary, BNP Paribas Personal Finance. Today, Cofinoga operates as a brand alongside Cetelem, offering personal loans, revolving credit, and credit cards primarily to the French market.
