Founded in 1963, Coasmedas (Cooperativa del Sector Salud) is a Colombian savings and credit cooperative dedicated to improving the economic and social well-being of its professional members and their families. It operates under the principles of the social and solidarity economy, offering a portfolio of services including various savings plans, credit lines for different purposes (e.g., housing, education, personal use), insurance, and other social benefits. The cooperative is supervised by the Superintendencia de la Economía Solidaria of Colombia.
